Australian police war against the Ford Focus RS

The “Drift” mode of the Ford Focus RS did not please the Australian authorities. But then, not at all.
The latest Ford Focus RS has an amazing “Drift” mode, allowing the transmission to change settings to allow the driver to have fun with her self and realize pretty drifts of the rear axle.

This mode simply rankled some police officers and other “experts of road safety” in Australia. While the line lock system of the Ford Mustang is disabled on models sold in the country (the donuts were strictly forbidden there), these officials do not understand that the Drift Fashion Focus RS is maintained.

According to them, this mode would allow drivers to make anything on the road by putting everyone in danger. Strange controversy in this country yet very fond of big drives V8 ?? to when the ban of these drives can also drag the rear axle, or even push-ups that might encourage their drivers to drive too fast and shoot straight when cornering?
